The Dutch LGBT handball team forms once each year to go to international tournaments all across Europe. It consists of experienced handball players from several handball clubs.
The first time the team was gathered, was for the Eurogames on home ground in Rotterdam 2011. After that, they have been present in tournaments almost once a year. They have been very successful with several top positions, even winning World Outgames in Antwerp 2013.
Team Netherlands doesn’t have an established organization, but assembles ad hoc for the tournaments.
