SC Janus Köln
SC Janus Köln was founded as early as in 1980 as a volleyball club, and later grew into a multisports club with handball as well.
SC Janus organized the 2010 Gay Games in Cologne, but did not go to international LGBT handball tournaments after that, before the 2019 LGBT Euro Handball Championship in Berlin.

Team München was formed in 1999 as a multisports organization. Their handball team has taken part in international LGBT handball tournaments since 2015.
Team München has one team playing in the German league system.

Vorspiel SSL started when some friends got together to form a volleyball team in 1986, and after that the sports club grew into several sports and with a huge increase in the number of members. Today, Vorspiel SSL is the second biggest LGBT sports club in Europe.
On the international handball stage, the Vorspiel SSL is however rather a newcomer, with it’s first participation during the Eurogames in Stockholm in 2015. In 2019, they are organizing their first international handball tournament at home, with a record number of 14 competing teams.
