In Denmark, there is currently one club organizing handball teams for the LGBT community, and it is located in the capital Copenhagen.
Pan Idræt
Pan Idræt is the common name for the LGBT sports club in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, and today it has over 25 different sports disciplines. It was founded in 1984, and handball became part of the club some years later.
Pan has participated in international LGBT handball tournaments since the very beginning, and has enjoyed great success, ending among the top teams in the majority of their competitions. Pan Handball organized the Pan Games along with the other sports each october until 2012. After this, they celebrated their 30 year anniversary with an international LGBT tournament in 2014, and are due to organize the Eurogames in 2021, at he same time as World Pride will take place in Copenhagen.
Pan Idræt organizes two teams in the national Danish league.

Metalpigerne is an ad hoc team that has joined international LGBTQ+ handball tournaments for many years. The team has a mainly Danish base, but has also included players from other countries. The team does not join in a regular league.
