The World Outgames of 2013 was held in the city of Antwerp with no local LGBT team organizing it. It was held on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th of August.

This was the first time the leaders of the international LGBT clubs met formally to set an agenda. It was decided that from now, there should only be promoted one international tournament each year, in order to ensure that the participating teams don’t split between the tournaments, but rather support making bigger tournaments. This one big tournament shold from now officially have the status of “LGBT Euro Handball Championship”.

The tournament featured eight male teams. Team Holland won their first international tournament this year, after winning over Norway in the final after extra time.

Final results

  1. Team Holland (Netherlands)
  2. Raballder Håndball (Norway)
  3. Team Swiss (Denmark / France)
